Senator Fuller Calls for Repayment of Dollars to OHV Fund
During a Budget Committee hearing, Senator Fuller questions Department of Finance officials on why a commitment to repay $11 million to the Off Highway Vehicle Fund could not be made. Money from the OHV Fund was used earlier this year to fund other Parks services. Since then, $54 million in total surplus funds have been found at the Parks Department.

Last week, the Senate Budget Committee held an oversight hearing into accounting and administrative practices at the Department of Parks and Recreation. Legislators called for the immediate release of detailed information and specific documents. Told that the information would not be released for a couple of months, the Senate has since learned that the information was made available soon after the hearing to the press instead.
