The majority party in Sacramento is at it again. Now is the time for the Legislature to pass a budget, and what are these out-of-touch lawmakers proposing? Once again they’re proposing tax increases and bills that do nothing but hurt hard-working California families and push jobs out of the state.

Whooping cough may sound like a disease from our grandparents’ time, but, unfortunately, we are seeing a surge of cases right here in California. Whooping cough is a contagious disease that can be easily passed from person to person. It’s very serious for babies and can cause them to cough so much that they cannot breathe. Hundreds of babies are hospitalized each year for whooping cough, and some even die from it.
