Dutton Congratulates Huff on Being Elected Senate GOP Leader

Wednesday, January 4, 2012

Senator Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga) released the following statement on Senator Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) being named to succeed Dutton as the leader of the Senate Republican Caucus:

I’d like to congratulate Senator Huff on being elected the new leader of the Senate Republican Caucus.  It was a pleasure and honor to serve as the Senate Republican leader.  I will assist Senator Huff in anyway necessary to ensure a smooth and orderly transition.

As I enter my last year in the Senate, I will continue to work hard to lift the unnecessary regulatory burdens that have played a key factor in making California one of the most expensive places in the nation in which to do business and that have contributed to the state’s high unemployment rate – nearly two million Californians are still looking for a job.

My focus in 2012 will be to help revive the Inland Empire through job growth and private business expansion.
