SACRAMENTO - Today, United States senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and Johnny Isakson (R-GA) introduced the Patient Freedom Act of 2017, a comprehensive replacement plan for Obamacare.
California State Senate Republican Leader Jean Fuller (R-Bakersfield) released the following statement:
“Congressional Republicans have shown leadership and already taken action with the introduction of this plan that gives states the opportunity to provide better health care options. This proposal provides flexibility while preserving the most essential benefits of care. We should work constructively with the federal government to ensure California chooses the best plan for its diverse population. I am glad to see the pathway to solutions has begun and that discussions are underway,” said Senator Fuller.
