Sen. Ashburn Rally to Support Traditional Marriage

Ashburn along with Rev. Lou Sheldon gathers support for constitutional amendment

Senator Roy Ashburn (R-Bakersfield) and Reverend Lou Sheldon along with supporters of traditional values host rally to support Senate Constitutional Amendment 1 – a constitutional amendment that defines a marriage is between a man and a woman.

“We need to preserve traditional values for the future of our children,” Ashburn stated. “Children must be raised with morals and principles. As a society, we must provide them with a secured and loving environment that allows them to flourish.”

“The momentum to preserve traditional marriage has spread like wild fire across the country and that same momentum has spread to the great people of California ever since Judge Richard Kramer issued his anti-marriage ruling earlier this month,” said Rev. Louis Sheldon, Chairman and Founder of Traditional Values Coalition.
