My staff and I are here to assist you with any issues you may have with State Government Agencies. If you have any questions or need help getting through, give my office a call and we would be happy to help you find the answers you’re looking for.
Below is a list of most commonly requested links to get you started:
You can always look-up and follow any piece of legislation at this link. Here you will find up-to-the-minute updates on legislation.
Knowing the committee a bill will be heard in next will enable you to contact committee members to voice your support or opposition. Here are the links to find committee members in the Senate and Assembly:
Once a bill passes through all committees and both houses it will be listed as “enrolled’. At this point the Governor generally has twelve days to sign or veto it. Here is a link with the Governor’s contact information, should you wish to contact him.
This is an opportunity for you to get involved in the legislative process, develop job skills, and get a head-start on your career. In our office you will have the opportunity to work in a professional environment, build your resume, and network with elected officials and business leaders. Also, this opportunity will fulfill your community service and internship requirements. You can download the application here (Word document).
Certificates of Recognition
Perhaps one of the best parts of my job is recognizing outstanding members of the community. My office can provide California State Senate Certificates of Recognition to honor outstanding community volunteers, academic and athletic achievement, milestones, and awards.
To request certificates, send me an email and someone from my staff will get in touch with you!
I am happy to provide informational brochures to my constituents. Information on these topics is available in my offices:
Keeping Kids Safe Online

Children’s Legislative Activity Books
Order a CA State Flag
You can order your very own California State Flag here (pdf).
Information about State Capitol tours can be found here.
For issues with Federal Agencies, you can look up your federal representative here and he or she will be able to assist you.
