Senator John J. Benoit (R-Bermuda Dunes) will present an update on legislative efforts concerning renewable energy at the Desert Building Industry Association’s dinner on Thursday, October 1 at 6:30 PM at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, 32-250 Bob Hope Drive. The panel, moderated by the BIA’s former director Fred Bell, will discuss the reach of federal stimulus funds into the Coachella Valley.
“The Coachella Valley will gain from the State’s investment in renewable energy sources, especially in tandem with federal incentives,” said Senator Benoit. “This year, solar panel installations are projected to grow 120 percent in California. We should be proud of the efforts taken by builders and citizens to create a cleaner, more reliable energy future.”
