SACRAMENTO – The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) announced that all 13 Republican Senators earned its highest possible vote record score in 2016. CMTA tracks bills that affect manufacturers and job creation on behalf of more than 30,000 California manufacturers and more than one million California manufacturing employees.
“It is an honor for Senate Republicans to once again be recognized for our commitment to good paying jobs and economic growth,” said Senate Republican Leader Jean Fuller (R-Bakersfield). “While the legislative majority passed bills that negatively impact California manufacturing, Senate Republicans remained resolute in our stand against these bad policies. We will continue to work for policies that foster job growth and make California more affordable to help improve Californians’ quality of life.”
“CMTA thanks the members of the Senate Republican Caucus for their overwhelming support of California manufacturers,” said Dorothy Rothrock, President of the California Manufacturers & Technology Association. “They understand that making California competitive for new investments and job creation will improve the lives of all Californians.”
